Ahhh, the peace of God. Doesn't that sound inviting? Then why is it so hard to find lasting peace?

If you are a seeker of Truth, you have spent a good deal of time at workshops or reading books on the ego, healing past wounds and living joyfully and peacefully. You attend the workshop, and all is great. You get home and quickly sink back into the chaos called life. Sound familiar?

ACIM can help you find lasting peace and joy, once and for all. It explains the entire thought system of the ego and the world as we know it. It gives you an entirely new prospective on your life and relationships. It teaches you how to truly forgive. Not in the common use of the word, but deeply. It helps you to heal, to love and to be free of fear, forever.

The summary introduction, which appears in its Text, is quite succinct and brief. It reads: "This is a course in miracles. It is a required course. Only the time you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time. The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love's presence, which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all-encompassing can have no opposite."
