SOTU on Karma

SOTU was recently asked a question from a long - time client about the dynamics of Karma. Upon reading a new book she was struck by the seeming severity of Karmic Debt that so many seem to be paying - which terrified her. The following is SOTU's answer.

There are some things that the author does not take into consideration since he is a scientist and sees many things through that lens. He has discovered the existence of a state of being but does not understand the emotional actuality of that state. He also does not understand that you all will so often interpret the dynamics discovered from other lives as choices that must be paid for in equal measure of severity of karmic disruption caused by you in that lifetime. This is not the case. Although at certain levels of consciousness, certain levels of awareness, one may choose to give what you might call payback - but that is a choice made between lifetimes and completely dependent upon what you wish to accomplish in the upcoming lifetime. Sometimes you wish to have certain emotional experiences, other times you don't.

Karma, from our perspective, is the opportunities that your Soul gives you to have the experiences that you incarnated for. With each succeeding lifetime, you learn more. With each succeeding lifetime you gain more wisdom. With each succeeding lifetime you create different successes, failures, loves, and hurts in order to have the emotional experience of them. And with each lifetime you gain more and more wisdom which presents itself to you in ever - more rapid expansions and understandings as you move and grow through a lifetime. In other words you learn some of the truths of your reality - motivated by who you are and your past wisdom - at a much younger age than most others, therefore giving you the possibility of having greater positive impact on those around you.

Each person you have had a relationship with - each person you will have relationships with in the future - are all energies you have chosen to meet with at that particular point in your life to remind you of your Soul's purpose and your Journey as a Divine Being manifested in a physical body. Each one holds a gift for you. Sometimes you assume the gift is to be taken and it is not. That soon becomes apparent to you. It is what you do with it at that point that matters. Each person whom you meet and interact with is also on their journey. Their Karma and their Soul's purpose brought them so they could have the experience of whatever interaction they've had with you. And they each have learned and experienced and gained wisdom for that interaction - and so have you. You are exploring a landscape of love and relationship on a personal level and you are preparing for the ascension of your entire species in your interaction with each other and your interaction with Mother Earth.

We hope this will give you all some reassurance that you're where you need to be at the moment and are moving to that place where you can freely be who you truly are.
